Image
Self-Driving Vans Have Arrived Thanks to a self-driving technology partnership between Lyft and Waymo, we can now expect to see self-driving vans on the streets in the coming months. As an initial move, Lyft customers in the metro Phoenix area will have access to 10 Waymo vehicles in the next few months. You'll just have to pick the vehicle type from the Lyft app, much like you would with any other ride option. The move will both expand the reach of Waymo's  fledgling self-driving operations  and provide "valuable feedback." FordTransit Custom Leasing Deals in Bridgend It is a shock move from Waymo who have chosen to team up with a company that has posted a substantial $1.1 billion loss during its first quarter of 2019. Even though that sounds a lot, after delving in to it you could probably take out the one-time costs of stock compensation after going public so the real loss stands at around $211 million which I guess is a step in the right direc...

Fiat Fullback Axed From Professional Line-up

Image
The Fiat Fullback pickup has been axed from the Fiat Commercial Vehicle line-up due to the new emissions laws as well as a poor sales record. Fiat announced the news at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham this year by Richard Chamberlain, head of Fiat Professional. It was originally a badge engineering exercise and the Fullback was the same truck as the L200 with a slightly altered specification. Although this announcement has sent ripples through the world of Fiat, the Professional range is marching strongly with the remaining line-up including the Ducato, Talento, Doblo and Fiorino. This all translates that even with the new emissions laws coming in to force in September 2019, they will all meet the guidelines.
