New 182bhp Engine for Ford Transit Custom Sport Van
Ford have developed a new range-topping Transit Custom Sport van
that will boast a 2.0-litre EcoBlue diesel engine that packs 182bhp.
It is currently on sale for the list price of £32,270 and comes
in both long and short wheelbase as well as in various body styles including
the fast-growing double cab option.
Buyers can opt for 415Nm and 182bhp in either a manual or
automatic six-speed transmission. The changes also include a revision to the
fuel injection system and a reworked low-inertia turbocharger which is claimed
to improve the power throughout the rev range.
Just like the other Sport models, this version will come
with flared wheel arches, body coloured door mirrors, wider side skirts, a body
kit, front and rear bumpers and finished off with a pair of racing stripes stretched
across the bonnet.
The inside also boasts an impressive layout with
part-leather seats along with an eight-inch infotainment screen and a roaming
WiFi hotspot. Optional extras can also be added which includes adaptive cruise
control to ease those longer journeys, lane keeping assist, active park assist
and a blind spot monitoring system with support for trailers.

vehicle line-up with the addition of the Transit Connect Sport that has a
