Pre-Registered Vans | Pros and Cons

Due to the up and coming WLTP changes and the strict emissions laws that vehicles must abide by, there will be thousands of vehicles on dealer forecourts that will soon be registered.

What does this mean for you? Well, in a nutshell, you will be able to drive a nice new van for a discounted price.

But first things first, what is a pre-registered van?

As the name would suggest, pre-registered means that the vehicle has been ‘previously registered’. They are registered to the dealer and they will be the first name that appears on the logbook.

Don’t worry, these vans won’t have been used and won’t have mileage on them as they would be delivered to the dealer on a large transporter.

As you are probably aware, once a vehicle is registered its value drops considerably. This works in your favour as you could see yourself saving thousands of pounds off the list price for effectively a brand-new van.

Currently we have seen a huge increase in Ford vans and Renault vans, so it is worth picking up the phone and speaking to our team on 01792 712 555 to have a chat about the current stock levels and prices.

These vehicles can be delivered to any UK mainland address for next to nothing which will further benefit you and the savings that you make.

What are the pros and cons?

If you haven’t already realised, the biggest ‘pro’ is the huge discounts available on the price. Everybody loves a bargain, and this is exactly how you can get more for less. Just ask us what pre-registered vehicles we have and one of our specialists will go through some options.

The amount of discount that is applied is largely due to how long that vehicle has been sitting in the compound of the dealership. The longer its been there, the cheaper you’ll get it.
You could also find that you have a larger choice of vehicles during March and September when there is a new registration and it is at the end of the financial quarter and when dealers are most likely chasing numbers.

Although these vans are not ‘new’, they will still have that ‘new car smell’ when you hop in for the first time.

Immediate delivery is something that we offer and something we try to offer all our customers. Don’t worry if you have a part exchange either, we will have that too.

The cons? Well, if you don’t mind being the second name on the logbook, there isn’t any.
So where do Premier Commercial Vehicles come in? Premier are the guys that dealers call to get rid of their stock. We have huge vehicle lists from dealers across the UK who are hopeful that we can get rid of some of their pre-registered vans.

They give us additional discounts which we then pass on to our customers so we can work out cheaper than a main dealer.

Don’t believe us? Give us a try! Our team are based in Swansea and can be contacted on 01792 712 555 between 9.00am and 5.30pm Monday-Friday.

We also have over 50 5-star reviews on Trust Pilot from our previous customers so look and see what other people are saying about us.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our friendly and professional team.
