Save over £4,000 when you get yourself a new Ford Edge from Premier Commercial Vehicles instead of a main dealer.

For this exercise we looked at the luxury SUV that has grown in popularity since its initial launch in 2016. Recently released, this face lift model now boasts an upgraded cab area along with striking new exterior features like the honeycomb grill and advanced lights.

We looked at a new Ford Edge ST-Line 2.0 EcoBlue Diesel 238bhp 5-Door Automatic and had a scout about to find out what main dealers were selling them for.

One main dealer local to Bridgend is selling them with a deposit of £6,500 whilst ours is only £4,857, which already saves you an impressive £1,643.

Next we looked at the monthly payments and could not believe the difference. Whilst the main dealer is selling theirs for an eye-watering £575 per month, ours was a mere £539 which if you calculate that saving along with the one on the deposit you could save yourself a staggering £4,053!

That's not all, with Premier Commercial Vehicles you will only pay 35 payments whilst the dealer demands 37.

It has been announced that the new Vauxhall Vivaro is now available to order with customers able to take delivery later on this year, most likely during the summer. Sources claim that you can get your hands on one of these medium sized vans from £21,240 (CVOTR) but ill be officially announced at the CV Show in Birmingham in April 2019. Ford extend payment holidays until September

Ford of Britain have decided to extend its offering of six-month payment holidays to new van buyers in a bid to keep customers buying new commercial vehicles during the Covid-19 pandemic. It is called the Ford ‘Peace of Mind’ programme and was initially launched to run through April and May of this year but they soon decided to extend it until the end of June. Premier Commercial Vehicles can now confirm that the programme is set to run until the end of September 2020. The scheme allows customers to defer the first three payments (after they part with the initial deposit) of their finance agreement. Then the following three payments will be covered by Ford in one single payment, capped at £750 - £1,600, depending on which vehicle the customer has.
