Public Statement | Covert-19 Coronavirus, Premier Commercial Vehicles


The statement below outlines our contingency plans in relation to the recent outbreak of Covert-19.

Premier Automotive Solutions Limited t/a Premier Commercial Vehicles will continue to operate out of our office in Swansea unless a further statement is published. 

Our team will be readily available during our usual opening hours (09.00-17.30) by calling 01792 712 555 or emailing hello@pas.ltd.

For any customers that choose to visit us, please do so providing that you have not recently returned from any high-outbreak countries, nor have you shown any of the Coronavirus symptoms.

The symptoms of Coronavirus are:
a cough
a high temperature
shortness of breath

Upon visiting our premises, we ask that you wash your hands for a minimum of 20-seconds, using the anti-bacterial hand wash provided.

If any member of staff begins to show signs of the virus then we will request that they self-isolate and work from home when they can. Equipment has been purchased and is ready to be used in such cases.

The health of our staff, customers and suppliers is our greatest concern and we will be exhausting every option to ensure their safety.

It has been announced that the new Vauxhall Vivaro is now available to order with customers able to take delivery later on this year, most likely during the summer. Sources claim that you can get your hands on one of these medium sized vans from £21,240 (CVOTR) but ill be officially announced at the CV Show in Birmingham in April 2019. Good news for the British economy as Vauxhall have announced that the global supply of the new Vivaro will continue to be built in their Luton factory. Ford extend payment holidays until September

Ford of Britain have decided to extend its offering of six-month payment holidays to new van buyers in a bid to keep customers buying new commercial vehicles during the Covid-19 pandemic. It is called the Ford ‘Peace of Mind’ programme and was initially launched to run through April and May of this year but they soon decided to extend it until the end of June. Premier Commercial Vehicles can now confirm that the programme is set to run until the end of September 2020. The scheme allows customers to defer the first three payments (after they part with the initial deposit) of their finance agreement. Then the following three payments will be covered by Ford in one single payment, capped at £750 - £1,600, depending on which vehicle the customer has. Something also worth noting is that buyers of Ford vans (including the Ford Transit Custom and large Transit that are available with 0% APR) can opt out of paying anything for the first six months of the finance agreement.
