Ford extend payment holidays until September
Ford of Britain have decided to extend its offering of six-month payment holidays to new van buyers in a bid to keep customers buying new commercial vehicles during the Covid-19 pandemic. It is called the Ford ‘Peace of Mind’ programme and was initially launched to run through April and May of this year but they soon decided to extend it until the end of June. Premier Commercial Vehicles can now confirm that the programme is set to run until the end of September 2020. The scheme allows customers to defer the first three payments (after they part with the initial deposit) of their finance agreement. Then the following three payments will be covered by Ford in one single payment, capped at £750 - £1,600, depending on which vehicle the customer has. Something also worth noting is that buyers of Ford vans (including the Ford Transit Custom and large Transit that are available with 0% APR) can opt out of paying anything for the first six months of the finance agreement.
